The Silk Kingdom

The Golden King kills his brother Nour al-Din and his wife. A servant witnesses the incident and hides Nour al-Din’s sons. As the two boys grow, they become separated.

Jalal al-Din decides to fight the Golden King and restore his father's rule. Omar helps Shams al-Din escape after his sister Jalila issues an order for his execution.

The Golden King appoints Shams al-Din as commander of the guard. He suspects that Jalila is pregnant out of wedlock, so Shams al-Din helps her escape before she is killed.
